Greetings all! My name is Nir, I am a 38 old Israeli and I recently came to live in Bend with my wife. For the last ten years I have been working as a boat captain and instructor. I have more than 10 years of experience and opportunity as being a captain/skipper of sail and motor yachts through the Mediterranean with a strong concentration around the Turkish coast. I have instructed a variety of nautical education including: coastal and instrument navigation, seamanship, boat systems, and practical knowledge of yachting. I spent 5 years in the Israeli Navy which includes me as a graduate of the Naval Academy, the Deputy Engineer of a naval ship, a commander of a patrol vessel, and the Seamanship officer of an Israeli mother ship. After the required Israeli naval days, I moved my interests to sailboats and was a head sailboat instructor at a local school in Israel. Through the years, I completed dozens of charters and deliveries of sail and motor vessels. Last year I have been the skipper of a private family yacht. I and my wife have worked on a various amount of boat projects including a haul out and anti fouling on a boat. I am diver as well and used this knowledge and skill to take care of various underwater projects when the boats have been afloat. I am experienced with working in family style situations onboard, amongst children and other youth. I love sailing and love teaching and will be happy to find a boat or more that would enjoy my services, plan a sailing program or just go sailing and have fun.

26 year old male. In between my 2nd and 3rd year of medical school and looking to learn how to sail in my time off. I am a certified PADI divemaster, worked on a diveboat for a couple of months as a crew member and leading dives, was a division I collegiate swimmer at ASU, and have grown up in and around the ocean surfing and diving since I was very young. Minimal sailing experience (have sailed a sunfish a number of times if that counts) but have always wanted to learn.

Hello! I am am 33 and have held the dream of sailing the ocean blue for 10 years now and would love to see that dream come true before the other great feats of life (babies in particular) take over!! I have a 50 ft. inland waters US Sailing Captain certification with over 2 years sailing experience in SF Bay and years of experience as a professional chef/chocolatier. I am a twenty four year old man, looking to get out on the water as much as possible. I have sailed on all different sized boats, from lasers to 135 foot schooners. I have captained a 33 Newport from Alaska down the inside passage to Vancouver. I currently own a 28 Newport and keep her in Sausalito, although I have a boat of my own I am looking to get on some vessels that are a bit larger and perhaps sail under some skippers who have knowledge to impart. I only have a limited "proper" sailing education and am looking to learn more and pick the brains of seasoned sailors. I have limited experience racing and would love to learn more. Let me know.
